Compostela

In early 2008 A team from La Fuente was sent to the town of Compostela to begin a planting another mission.  Compostela was at the time the location furthest from Tepic that we had chosen to plant a church.  The city is well outside of Tepic and a large area with a lot of need for a Chrisitan church.  Through God’s provision a great piece of land was purchased and a building quickly went up.  There has been a great response from the community and every week there are many families coming to our events.  The church will begin having weekly worship services in early 2010, and this will add to the weekly Bible studies and kids programs that are already taking place.  God has shown His Faithfulness is a huge way out in Compostela, the church there is led by Pastors Leo and Mariaelena Bastian.
